Making players lag?
Hi, does distant horizons on the server side make players lag? I'm experiencing issues with my players joining and their ping is astronomical. There are only circumstances that when they join their ping is alright, but whenever they recon (after having 40ms stable ping) lag starts to happen. Are there any settings in the config I can tweak on bandwith threshold? THANKS

any recommendations on wha tto do
You can indeed change DH bandwidth limits both server and client side
Reducing the DH CPU load both sides might also help

Hi thanks for the response and sorry for the late reply, what are the optimal settings for those 2? I'm getting a bit desparate as my players are always disconnecting the moment they join
and where do I find them? Sorry for this and thanks
server side both settings can be chnaged by using
/dh
command or via editing the config file located in the server files
Client side somewhere inside the nested menus when it comes to the bandwidth
And on the main settings page when it comes to the CPU load
(or again in the config file directly)
/configTo edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config.
The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml
Highest that won't make your game unplayable
Alright will try and configure those and come back here if there are results, thank you so much
or am I not changing the correct things
