Reccommend me some brands? ππ
Attached are some aspirational pics i've saved, i'm very much into the high waistline, layering, and accent colors over more neutral shades.
I dont have much trouble dressing how i like during colder months (re: layering diff colors and patterns and textures) but now thats its hot and humid, i find myself at a bit of a loss - i've been rocking a t shirt + a flannel combo + flared/hakama style pants, but it doesn't really hit the same.
I also own very little clothes, so i tend to go for safer/versatile items. I think my closet essentials are pretty set in terms of basic shirts, buttonups, and bottoms. So i'm looking for more fun pieces that are light enough for 30c summer.
Located in china, budget would cap at 300 usd per item (but prefer to stay under 100 usd for inner layers/simpler clothing items). Height 160 cm, would like to avoid anything too slouchy or baggy because everything is baggy on me by default π« womens brands are fine but would prefer mens tailoring/porportions if that makes sense, it sometimes wears weird

re: fit, i can do simple adjustments like pant hemming but anything more intensive, i start to think i should just save up and get it custom made πββοΈ
not brands but some multi brand shops that i think hit close to this, not everything here is under budget but if accepable it may be worth looking for things secondhand.

Withing the same approach you could check out https://rendez-vous-store.com/ and https://storedunord.com/. Motivmfg is a very cool chinese brand that would fit with some of this inspo. I don't know how expensive it is in china though
@Tim might be able to help out with some local recs (hope you don't mind the tag Tim)
Red Tornado has a Barbour Spey clone like the one in your pics

Feng Chen Wang is also Chinese and pretty diverse in terms of design
aviva jifei xue is very cool, i think it runs a bit out of budget but neat to check out
Bronson MFG is also chinese and good for basics, pretty sure labour union and bronson are both on aliexpress and taobao for cheaper
When you say fun what kind of fun are you looking for
Imo for items i feel like the inspo feels like some neat wide pleated pants and maybe some neat kinda funky shirts would be fun for hot weather. like this one i pulled

Not at all!
Seconding Labor Union. I think if you're fine experimenting and making use of taobao's return policy I would just search taobao far and wide. There's so much on there, obviously with varying quality. But check the reviews and ne ready to return bad items and you'll be good.
Some interesting brands I've found that could be worth checking, though I can't vouch for their quality: Plan B, FLLM, Public Radio, Simple Project.
Use taobao's image search function too if you've got some inspo to go off of. It works pretty well.
Also the taobao store midnight club εε€δΏ±δΉι¨ has a lot of great brands.
Holy crap, thanks for all the responses :HOLY: lots of new brands for me to look into
