Writing to Sidecar
Hello,
Just doing some testing before I make the jump to Immich. I manually copied over an HEIC file into a brand new deployment of Immich. I added a Tag called "Birthday" and it create the xmp sidecar file, which contains the Birthday tag value.
The image already had its map geo-location details; but this information was not in the sidecar file. I manually edit the Lat/Long and changed one number, THEN the geotagging was written to the sidecar file.
I tagged two faces in the image, these are not being written to the sidecar file.
I tried running the meta and sidecar jobs after adding the faces and this information is still not inside the sidecar file.
I'm coming from Digikam
I want to ensure ALL tags, faces, and geo-location is written to any file uploaded or added, I configured Digikam to always do this step so i always have a sidecar file, if this is not possible at this time then I might have to hold off on Immich at this time because sidecar and meta data support is the key feature that I require.
