Add to Steam feature fails to launch

I'm trying to play Lego Batman and Watch Dogs 1 with Controller and I was looking around to people saying to use Add to Steam in hopes that Steam Input would make it work but when I try to launch the game it just immediately stops with no logs afaik whatsoever.

Try launching Steam from the terminal & then running the game. The terminal output will then have the log of the game launch at the bottom

Some easy things to check:

Make sure Steam doesn't have a Compatibility Tool set for the game
Try running the command Steam would run (

flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl ...
```
flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl ...
```
flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl ...
```
flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl ...
, copy the arguments from the shortcut) in your terminal, check if that works

The flatpak command shortcut works as normal but still missing the controller support

Only controller input that works is the touch pad as it acts like a mouse on PC.
