Performance just goes away
Hey, I've been using bazzite for a while, but only recently got back into playing more grapichally intensive games. Been trying to play cyberpunk, the oblivion remaster, jedi survivor and the stellar blade demo, all with the same problem in common, they just don't keep performance at all... it's like when I am just starting the game up, it will run at 120 fps... but then it will quickly fall to like single digit FPS and just stay there? I can for the life of me not figure out why that is... even more annoying is, that I suspect it's that it can't clear out vram. because sometimes my monitors will just stop getting anything rendered to them.
For some additional context. My pc has a 3080 and an intel i5-12600k and yet the steam deck I borrow from my brother performs better in every game. Like no contest. I am using the propritary driver, and I can't even swap to the open source one, it just won't even boot... simillar to toggling nvk prevents the system from booting until a rollback
If anyone has any idea how to make the performance better without me having to reinstall, then I am all ears... because I really just want to play games and have fun
