Can reducing CPU usage reduce lag? If so how do I reduce it?
Hey, I know probably dumb question but I need help.
I read somewhere that reducing the CPU usage aka amount/speed of LODs loading can help fix the lag spikes when generating new chunks.
If i'm not wrong, what settings do I need to change to reduce it?

Yes, it can. You can reduce CPU usage with the
CPU Load
preset which is on the first page of DH's settings
Also, updating to DH 2.3 and not using a very old version will also help with lag spikesoh can't believe i missed that, thanks. I will inform if it fixes
it mostly fixed the lag so im happy. but now when i use shaders, the distant background look like its blinking (like when a tv channel has no signal and the background is flashing all white black static, sorry my english isn't very good). Maybe its also too foggy when it shouldnt

Does this happen with all shdaers or only 1 specific one?
yeah the less the cpu usage the less the stutters and more cpu power for vanilla chunks
