Steam cannot do hardware encoding
I suspect the reason is that we are missing
mesa-va-drivers-25.1.0-3.fc42.i686.rpm. I would like to install it to check if that fixes the issue, but have found nowhere it still exists. I'm wondering if there's anywhere else they can possibly exist, or what the alternative options are.Solution
The latest testing build has included the package and hardware encoding is working, thanks to @Kyle Gospo
