Custom Tagging

Hi. I was wondering if it would be possible to for the user to tweak the AI prompt for generating tags. For example, I have lots of Maxtree vegetation assets which i would like to categorize automatically by type and the predominant continent/country where they are found. Ideally, I would also like to have tags of the asset in a different language. The latin name of the species is always in the name of the Maxtree asset so it should be simple to for AI to include predefined tags for type and location.

Hey @Sitta, giving users the ability to adjust the tagging prompt is an interesting idea, but I would guess it would be complex to do in a good way. But, you can of course still search based on the names in the Dash Content Browser, so the name does not really need to be a tag. Will think about your suggestion though, but right now your best bet would be to select several assets and use the Batch Tag Edit. (P.S we are making it easier to select more assets in 1.9.2 release) And of course, you can check the structure of our tagging folders/files and run your own prompts with some AI solution to generate your own tags based on the already computed thumbnails. Not very user friendly, but I know some other user did that 🙂

which alternative?

I uploaded the metadata json to chatgpt to extract the name of the asset and add additional tags based on the name. but for some reason it can't do translation without a lookup table.
