Could you explain the logic behind it?

noooooooooooooooooooooo these formulae yuck what sephrina said, do you know this?
Sephrina

i am wondering wht they are maine kabhi nhi dekha hai ye what are those formulas

do you follow the t = 0 t = 30 thing?

Yea Are they not efficient?

they are a cognitive load that are unnecessary pchem needs to happen from first principles :) mug vomit helps in some exams that have minutes = number of qs, agreed whioch part is new? the formula is just taking a weighted avg total mass/total moles = molar mass and vd x 2 = molar mass that is all there is to this q :) (after you do the t = 30 part)

But in that won’t you get an equation in two variables
Sephrina
Sephrina3mo ago
kyu ? aap ik var isko formula ko jaane do jo teacher ne diya aap ik vaar apni understanding se try karo aur agr kuch doubt phir bhi aara to batao

Theek hai I’ll try it

what are the two variables? i only see x molar mass is vd x2 def hai, look it up online :D

Haan vo to pata hai When I try to start solving these questions my brain stops working I never know the first step only

There’s molar mass of d and x right? Vo karta hu Phir aur frustrate ho jata hu

aree pehle to aap solve karne se phle calm down karo apna mind aur baki chze hata do basic se sochne ka try karo aur apni learnt theory dalna try karo ki uk tht the formula is this ab mereko given ye hai ab mai aisa kya karu ki is chiz se mujhe vo mil jaaye and then keep that chain going till u reach the ans

I’ll try that thanks🙂

Yes but how will you find it for D?
iTeachChem
iTeachChem3mo ago
yyou have a so you know how much A exists at t = 30 as well you know total moles of C and D molar mass of C is given :) works?

@YAWN what are the answers? are they 120 and 160 and 0.4, 0,2, 0.2? if so here's an easy method first you need to know that VD = M/2 (m= molecular weight). And VD of mixture is Mavg/2. What your teacher has used is the formula for Mavg. They assumed 3x moles of A have been converted and that x and x moles have been formed. The second eqn you can get from the law of conservation of mass. The numerator of this Mavg expression can be replaced by 120 and you can find the value of x. I can send the written soln if you can't understand it By using law of conservation of mass it becomes really straightforward

Hey dude I didn’t get this part if you could explain it again please?
iTeachChem
iTeachChem3mo ago
That's the total number of moles. Summation of 1-3x, x and X

yes, the total moles. the first eqn I used is the Mavg one, the one you have also sent. The second one is law of conservation of mass. ( the one you marked in white). 120 g of reactant was there initially. So finally at t=30 mins if we multiply the moles of each constituent with its molar mass we'll get the total mass at that instant. And I have equated that to 120. Then I just subbed 120 in the num of the Mavg expression, cuz they're the same. 120 = (moles of A at t=30)Ma + (moles of C at t=30)Mc + (moles of D at t=30)Md (where Ma, Mc and Md are molar masses)
