Higher resolution at range
I'm currently playing on a server where I'm using the mod client side only.
How do I get rid of these very low-detailed textures that appear so close to me?

you can't, thats how DH renders LODs
DH doesn't use textures
You can increase the resolution of the noise textures in DH settings
