- Open the Task Manager > Details tab - End the task on all VALORANT, Riot Client and VANGUARD-related apps/services - Open the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program - Uninstall Riot VANGUARD - Open CMD as Admin and type these commands: - sc delete vgc - sc delete vgk - Navigate to your C: Drive, then Program Files - Find the VANGUARD folder and delete it - Open the Riot Client and click update - Restart your computer after the update After you’re done with that: - Press Windows key + R - Type services.msc - Look for vgc - Right-click on vgc > Properties - Change the startup type to automatic - Start the services (if not started already) We will be waiting for your response, thank you.

Okay ty I'll update asap Oh wow It worked Didn't crash on startup Lemme test further Wait So vanguard can cause bsod, black screens and no signals? Ok nvm I press start on swiftplay It crashes maybe microsoft display adapter overwrites the drivers I reinstalled drivers using ddu and still black screen crash And now, after rebooting, it boots into the wrong resolution I tried ddu, reinstalled ram and GPU, tried windowed fullscreen, tried disabling full screen optimizations and compatibility mode, disabled my antivirus and tried to reinstall vanguard Nothing worked If anyone has suggestions Please tell me

:(( Update: After talking to chatgpt, it arrived at the conclusion of replacing my vga to HDMI cable with dvi-d to hdmi/dvi-d. I already ordered it and I'll update if it works.

Dam I reinstalled valorant Testing rn Yup crashed I actually think it's the cables Cause sometimes the option to change to 75hz Does not show In my monitor I think my vga to HDMI cable can't handle 75hz My monitor is set to 60hz but my in-game settings is 75hz, I think it black screens when it tries to override the refresh rate But in 75 hz(in monitor) I can go to the lobby and agent selection but it still black screens
