what ratos version is installed?
Where can I check that?
According to the file, which should be right as I couldn't update it, it's 2024-07-27-RatOS-2.1.0-RC2
Machine tab > Update Manager.

that doesn't work at all, even after multiple refreshes

wait let me test via my phones hotspot, RatOS might have some ports blocked in my firewall
That's a wild error, never seen that before. I'd start from scratch; on another sd card if you don't want to wipe the current one.
Yeah my firewall is not an issue
sigh, guess I do need to reinstall it after all...
it has magically fixed itself...

I now have this error when updating system packages though

@Sanedish When this started working for you, did you do anything specific? Or are you just saying it magically was fixed? Seems like a number of people running into thjis issue.
I have updated my system, which I was unable to before. Why that was is still a absolute mystery tho
Solution
so tl:dr :
Updating fixed it
Thanks for the info. Are you saying that on the main "Machine" screen you had the option to update some packages or did you ahve to start over from the beginning?
Yes, exactly that.
I was for some reason unable to update my resources, as discussed in this thread, and after a while the updating has magically started to work again, that's when the Chart came back as well.
Why I was unable to update is still a mystery to me though
thanks for clarificaiton. I may just scrap everything and start from the beginning I suppose, which seems ridiculous but it without guidance from ratos team, doesn't seem like there is much alternative. pretty dissapoitning, but Im pretty new to discord so maybe Im not able to use this tool properly and they are responding to these issues somehwere..
