[SOLVED] when launching gta v stuck on infinitely launching

the game used to work perfectly but now after launching through steamos's gaming mode its stuck on the "launch" screen the game underneath works i can hear it start up just fine does anyone know wwhy?

if you go into desktop mode and you check the game logs without running the game you will have the logs of that last run in gaming mode

I would use ge-proton 10-3 instead of the stock proton 9 also
