GTA V Not Launching

Hi, I am new here and just learned about Heroic today. So, I downloaded the GTA V from Epic Games on my M1 Mac. Whenever I hit play it tries to open the game and says unable to launch the game. Am I missing something?

Also how do I make it full screen I guess pressing home removes the disconnected dialogue, but I am still stuck at Entering Story Mode. It keeps loading 😦

that error happens when the rockstar launcher is not running, is the rockstar launcher starting before the game opens?
