HOW TO USE BACKUP CODES
I have been trying for a year to login and found some backup codes I saved, I can’t find where to put them in to login, email verification is only 6 space and these are 8 space

You need to choose the password login option for email or mobile number to be able to use a 8-digit backup verification code.
Once you are on the secondary verification page, tap on the "Change Verification Method" option to use your 8-digit backup verification code.
If you are unable to use the code, it may indicate that the code invalid and can no longer be used....

Click Change Verification Method
Then select use back-up code
From the login page?
Yes
After you try to login and it will ask you to enter secondary verification code,
Just below the box you'll see option "Choose Another Verification Method"
Click that then click Use an 8 digit back-up code
I can’t get the first verification code
It doesn’t send

But from what you said I need to get first code, then that’s the 2fa
Sir, 8 digit backup codes are used for 2fa not for login

I tried that, declined, despite receipts from 2018 till my account hacked bla bla, then I am in the middle of dealing with the support email but they are very painful, can you forward to someone higher up than customer service?

OP stands for Original Poster, you have this tag next to your name because you were the user who created this post.
The "Admin" tag next to Mudasir's name is called a guild tag. It can be used by anybody who is in the same server the tag originated from. It does not mean he is an admin in this server.
It is always best to click on a user's profile and check their roles to see whether they are a moderator or an administrator.
