So i have a little problem, steam something

so When i try to launch a game i get an error (See picture). The error was on official games but after a reinstall of something it worked but a simple exe game like from gog but like not from store directly gives me the error and i dont know why. I am using ubuntu 25-04 and flatpak. Here is the log: https://0x0.st/8gSr.log Little update: normal wine works and lanuhces the launcher

go to the game's settings in heroic > advanced tab > check and then uncheck the Disable UMUDisable UMU option (it has to end up unchecked, it's bug in heroic that requires this check/uncheck)

so now it there is no error, nice. but after a few seconds it just toggles back to play so i can click again for the same loop to happen, nothing actually appears and it goes back to play status. https://0x0.st/8gSA.log

well its a gog exe installed from the gog library but it is not actually the last of us part 2 because it does not exist on gog its the metro exodus

there's a bug in heroic and sideloaded games are showing no logs, if it's a game you own in GOG, install it using the GOG integration, it will also take care of other things like installing pre-requisits like dxsetup, vcrun, etc

i though that prepackaged games from gog which you can download drm free coudlnt do that but maybe i was wrong
