Conversations here are reposted online (on answeroverflow)

Found whole threads from this discord posted here https://www.answeroverflow.com/m/1374012707099115550. Be careful what you put on a chat. I may have to go through and change a bunch of things now as I had ip addresses and things in chats with kapa. Anyway my fault, but I wanted to warn others.

Hi @wbjb. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base. ---------------------- Thank you for your message and for raising this concern. Based on the knowledge sources provided, there is no information about Wasp, its documentation, or its community channels addressing the scraping or reposting of Discord conversations to external sites like Answer Overflow, nor any official guidance or warnings about sharing sensitive information in chats with kapa or elsewhere. If you have concerns about privacy or data exposure in community channels, it's always a good practice to avoid sharing sensitive information such as IP addresses or credentials in public forums or chats. However, the knowledge sources do not contain any official statements or policies from Wasp regarding this issue. ---------------------- Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon: ---------------------- Sorry @wbjb, I seem to be having a bit of trouble. Don't worry though, I've pinged my support and they will try to fix me up! :technologist: Perhaps try again in 15mins?

Yes of course! We set that up actually, so that people googling can also find answers based from #🙋questions . But whole Discord server is public space, anybody can join it. So you should be careful not to out anything sensitive, as on any other public internet forum / space.

Oh yes, thanks @Zeke ! I wonder if there is some other place where we could put it to make it even omre visible, I can imagine people missing this. Maybe in Discord opening/welcome message. I will look into that.

Okay fair enough. It was open knowledge that I either missed or forgot. Like I said, my fault that I didn't clear things out of error messages etc before posting in conversations with kapa.

Absolutely! I'm new to all of this and have used Odin Project and Wasp to start building actual things. I owe that to the people here who answer my questions and other people's questions. I'm sure some other poor soul who doesn't read things will eventually need the advice.

@wbjb oh very cool, I didn't konw about the Odin Project! How did you end up using Wasp, was that somehow suggested as part of the Odin project, or something you found on your own? Congrats on getting into web development, and we are here to help!

If I remember correctly, I found it when I was looking for boiler plates. I wanted a boiler plate to see how a real project should be structured, and in a reddit thread talking about another, I found a comment about Wasp and OpenSaas. Followed the link and the rest is history. Allowed me to get to more advanced full stack before my own skills would have. Built seariskiq.com to MVP in a few months of evenings. Working on launching officially shortly and iterating to improve the very buggy product.

Awesome, glad to hear Wasp played such a role in your path! Once you launch it make sure to share in #🏠made-with-wasp
