Corrupt download problem when downloading MACOS

Hey everyone. I tried downloading Nightreign over Steam via Heroic as a first time user. I got the corrupt download problem and It wouldn't let me download over 96%. I read some threads online saying it could be a buffer issue where It can't unzip because It doesn't have enough memory but after modifying the config it didn't work either. Is this a known problem? And if so, is there a solution.

I'm having the same problem, but I haven't found anything about buffer sizes. Strangely enough, I'm having no problems downloading games from steam when it's run through usual wine (without Heroic).

basically says that macos didnt give full RW permissions to Heroic. I gave it Full Disk access in settings and I installed Elden Ring successfully. Now another problem is that elden ring has EAC and it won't let me play without it

EAC doesn't work on mac, I don't think there's any workaround

I gave Heroic full disc access, but it didn't help anyway.
