mage arena cant download (macOS)
when i try downloading mage arena on heroic steam it says that the disk usage is 0 and after some waiting it shows an error telling me that the game servers are corrupt or something. its the only game that does this pls help

has to do with the steam build on heroic beiong held in limbo to avoid clientbreaking updates happening

i downloaded and ran a game off steam yesterday tho, does the client auto update?
will uninstalling steam and reinstalling on heroic set it back tto the heroic version?

Tbh I would look into something like Crossover (paid but the best) or Portingkit and kegworks as free alternatives.
Heroic steam is stuck on an old version and there not much u can do to fix these download errors without workarounds.

ah so it seems porting kit is also the same deal as heroic and whisky when it comes to using an older version of steam.
your only options it seems is to use CrossOver or Kegworks with a wine 10 engine. but that engine doesnt support d3dmetal (gameporting toolkit). if all you want to play is mage arena it should be fine with a wine 10 engine with dxmt. and ofc it works on crossover.

waiting to sell my windows pc this month, then get crossover on my mac, literally using my windows pc for only fivem and ready or not, was using it for bf2042 but it popped up on ps5 monthly games
will only have to trade off fivem
its j redundant havin windows and mac at the same time
+ windows is so slow to launch its frustrating
my ps5 loads up bf2042 10x faster and i have a 3070 w 16 gigs of ram
its insanely pissing off so yea j gonna sell it off atp

Prob not, at least not with game porting toolkit. You can run steam in heroic with the wine devel (10 or higher) branches in wine manager. But it’s not setup the same way with the steam button at the top of your library. It takes a bit of configuring and you won’t be able to play dx12 games.
