Lines Not straight
Hello it seams that lines where th y Axis is involed seem to be wobbly, in my idex VC4 500.
This also occures when printing very slow.
Does anybody know why?
Please help l'm out ideas.

I had a similar problem that was caused by Y rail binding due to it being twisted between both sides.
Disconnecte A and B motors from the motherboard.
Loosen the 4 screws that hold the X rail to the MGN12 carriages of the Y axis on each side so that the X rail can pivot on the MGN12 , pull the X rail/extrusion to the front of the machine so it hits the structure on both sides, slowly tighten each of the 8 screws while moving the Y backward and touch it to the frame again, this should allow the Y and X rails to get set at 90º between them reducing the twist that causes "jumpy" motion on the Y axis. You should also feel the Y motion getting less "gritty" during this procedure when moving it by hand.
Reconnect the A and B motors and reprint
FYI the before and after of this fix

Thx i will test this!
My, gantry was already absolutely square so no impruvements.
My stepper makes clicks every now and then when I move the print head, may it be damaged?
Well it was worth the test. That clicking isn't normal, please record a video with that noise.
Check if the clicking comes from the stepper, or the pulleys or the mgn rails, all 3 can be the source, if so the "bad" parts needs replacement
@Anrot Did you ever find a resolution?
I am currently experiencing something very similar I believe. My wobbly lines show up on my vertical walls. I also had my stepper motors making a clicking noise (sounded like maybe the idler bearing). I’ve found I have a defective motor pulley as I can’t get it to sit concentric with the motor shaft. I believe this to be my issue and I’m currently waiting on new pulleys to arrive. I’ll update you with what happens .
Ive done enough printing now that the clicking noise seems to have gone away naturally.
Yes, I had to replace a stepper on the Hybrid system — it may have been losing steps and was also making a clicking noise.
Move the grub srew away from the flat spot of the motor shaft. Place both on the rounded side
