My printer doesnt hold its z value and cant print consistent layers.

Things I’ve tried : Calibrate beacon Belt tension Filament checking Nozzle tight Config fine Z height adjustment Save config Z offset save Motor current Slowing down print Fan altering It prints a good first layer but cant seem to stop scratching the prints afterwards or layer shifting I have no clue what to do anymore have tried everything

the nozzle hitting the previous layer is not uncommon, it could be that you are over-extruding a little. Layer shifting is not normal. Please share a little more information on your printer, including your configuration files a picture of a print would also help

Is this consistant with smaller as wel as with larger prints? I am asking as heat soaking might be a candidate here
