My printer doesnt hold its z value and cant print consistent layers.
Things I’ve tried :
Calibrate beacon
Belt tension
Filament checking
Nozzle tight
Config fine
Z height adjustment
Save config
Z offset save
Motor current
Slowing down print
Fan altering
It prints a good first layer but cant seem to stop scratching the prints afterwards or layer shifting
I have no clue what to do anymore have tried everything

the nozzle hitting the previous layer is not uncommon, it could be that you are over-extruding a little. Layer shifting is not normal.
Please share a little more information on your printer, including your configuration files
a picture of a print would also help
Is this consistant with smaller as wel as with larger prints?
I am asking as heat soaking might be a candidate here
