the answer key has used work energy theorem and I haven't studied it till now, can anyone do this question with other methods because I cannot find any others

im trying by integrating, found out the length travelled, but getting stuck after that
what I did was to find the maximum velocity and distance covered when acceleration is zero

then I out acceleration as dv/dt
put
and tried to get time till the acceleration becomes zero

now I really don't know if my dt = dl/v substitution is even correct
or if even my final answer is correct
because krotov answer contains pi
but it uses oscillation to get it
Can u share the given ans

What have you done after splitting the integral and finding the time till a=0
It's not clear in the images
i got the integral of ldt from t=0 to t=t
then i put v=dl/dt, so dt = dl/v
substitute this into dt in the intergal
then i put limits of l according to the time at t=0 ( l =0) and t=t( l = tan(theta)/b)
then i put v as l as i got its funnction wrt l above
oh
i think i made a mistake here
the value of v i substituted
@atomistic1 please use the topic in title
done
honestly i believe this is beyond the scope of jee . try after doing shm ig
oo so it cannot be done with nlm equations
sorry but I cannot be found talking to people on the internet by my family lol. You can ask the staff here if they can arrange a meet with many students in this server
