iska derivation
kya hai
Thik about it
What does gram equivalent mean?
molar
mass
/ n factor
That's equivalent mass
Gram equivalents in terms of molarity
Normality*
Sorry
Normality
ohh
givem
msss
/ equvalent
mass
Let's go a bit more simple
Normality is gram equivalents per unit volume right?
yrs
If you want to calculate the number of gram equivalents
In a mixture
You multiply the normality by the volume right?
ys
yes
So now think
You mix two solutions
And you want to calculate the concentration of the same thing in a mixture
yes
You divide the total number of gram equivalents
By the total volume
How do you get the above
This formula
ohhhhh
oka
Ab karke dekho
@anaya is the ans 0.5N ?
yes
ok so uhm what u can do here is
take out the n factor and calculate the molarity and then use the dilution formula
That's not even really "required"
Directly normality of mixtures se bhi to kar sakte hain
normality makes my head spin so i stick to molarity
Lmao why so lol
Yahan to sab kuch diya hua hai
Way simpler if we go by normality
normality is just ..... to me
like wth is that
it makes no sense to me
Lmao it's very convenient nonetheless
@Sephrina
im good in molarity
normality is bs
main problem i dont understand why normality
like ok i get molarity
but what use is normality
Helps a lot to the people in labs
Moles are weird to deal with
Equivalents provide a lot more insight into the reaction
Like moles require a lot of information beforehand
Equivalents don't
i dont understand equivalents thts the problem
