Sorry msg dekha hi nahi 😭 Fbd yaar wohi hoga har point par normal rxn banado wall par Jo net reaction hoga woh Mg(vector)-Fbottom(vecto) hoga Jo ya toh neeche ya toh upar hai

Kuch aisa ban jata hai Water ko ek separate object Maan lo Aur uska fbd likh do Resnick haliday mei they do this a lot But haan Basically saare forces ka sum on the water is zero cause water in equilibrium Ig 75 N hai ans?

Accha shayad calc error Damn I forgot to take atmospheric pressure under consideration in fbd That's why they gave top surface area

The weight of the water+the atmosphere exerting pressure at the top is balanced by the vertical component of force exerted by vertical walls+force by the bottom. So, rho.V.g+P_atm.(top area)=Patm(bottom area)+rho.g.h(bottom area)+(F by side walls in upward directions) Thus, required force is F=rho.g.V-rho.g.h(Bottom area)=rho.g(V-(bottom area).h)=10^3.10(500-400).10^(-6)=1N I don't have pen and paper, so sorry for the lack of diagram ;;
