What's the recommended way to install multiple desktop environments or window managers on Bazzite?
I've been thinking about trying out an immutable install like Fedora Kinoite but it's a new experience for me and I didn't quite want to go through the trial by hell-fire in attempting to throw together a functioning window manager setup with a few bells and whistles while also satiating the NVIDIA driver demons again. I thought that Bazzite would be a good place to start since I saw that driver support seemed to be better supported out of the box and it had a more clearer defined methodology for installing applications. Would it be possible to install DEs or WMs using distrobox and have them available at the login greeter to select?
Solution
rebasing between KDE and GNOME is already an unsupported action, let alone layering/installing multiple DE/WMs. while you can use rpm-ostree to install other DE/WMs, past that youre on your own
