Is this on one specific site or all sites? Have you tired: Quit and restart Chrome? Restart your computer? Maybe the site you are viewing has done something to prevent you from inspecting? It is possible to prevent the shortcut from working but that shouldn't prevent you from using the view > developer > inspect option.

have you rebooted your PC? Tried running Chrome in safe mode? (win+r, chrome --safe-mode)

just to be sure, can you check if you see the dev tools window when you do alt+tab or windows+tab ? if you popped out the devtool panel it's possible that windows crapped itself and displays it outside of you screen

yeah I straight up can't see it yeah I've restarted it a few times

it should work, but if it doesn't it might indicate that somethign is very wrong and most likely out of your control to be fixed

Try these keyboard shortcuts in case you undocked it and lost it off the visible window 1. Open the dev tools with right click > inspect or Cntrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Opt+I 2. Try to toggle dock /undock Cntrl+Shift+D /Cmd+Shift+D 3. If that doesn’t work try to maximize Cntrl+Shift+] / Cmd+Shift+]
