xenon's config is 5s2 5p6 oxygen uses its 2p electrons to bond p pi - p pi bonding isnt possible since xenon is too big for that orbital overlap too wack and diffuse even 2p-3p bonds are unstable, let alone 2p-5p so xenon has to use its vacant d orbitals for every Xe=O pi bond therefore, four p pi - d pi you can also hack the options, if one Xe=O is p pi-d pi then all of them are (therefore 4), since every Xe=O behaves the same anyway

Huh Ohk How can I find if jee will ask this or not ? Is it mentioned in the syllabus ?

read good books, follow syllabus, ditch coaching modules, take their tests though cos that is close to the real thing.

test taking is a practice to mark things that you know more than the actual score most students mess up on negative marking that needs training, to not take baits and ONLY mark things you know and what you do know, do it quickly and using tricks
