Do lightning rods need to be exposed to the sky to work? - Grow a Garden
Because I have one in the middle of a cluster of mushrooms, so it's all covered up. Even after that crazy streak of 3 thunderstorms, it hasn't been struck. Maybe it's just bad rng, but idk.

Sooo an increased chance of the area being struck by lighting? Don't they need to be struck by lightning to get the mutation...?

(ex:) If you place a lightning rod down, lightning is not guranteed to always hit the fruit in the area, but it's rather an increased chance of getting the mutation.

My lightning rod was under a tree and was still able to be struck so it being exposed to sky isn't really neccessary

I've just got beanstalk crop with 9+ mutations and it's gone now. When I left the game and joined again. It changed to beanstalk crop with 5 mutations. I repeated that and again. It's changing mutationgs and crops.. How to fix that?
