Mangos do the most in terms of the moonlit achievements. They're a relatively rare seed, so worth a lot of moonlit points, whilst always bearing lots of fruit - meaning they're likely to become moonlit. In terms of money-making, they are not your best option. Look to anything with a high base value, close to the ground and has a lot of fruit. It's generally up to how you want your garden to be and what you want to do when you play the game. You can always replant a mango tree should you change your mind.
