Maybe a weird question: as dash content browser is quite slow for me (it takes 3-4 minutes to scan all my assets every first time I open it after starting UE) is it possible to drag an already downloaded asset (megascan,polyheaven, dekogon...) from UE content browser to the scene and "convert" it later to a Dash asset?

Yes you can use the assets directly from the project.
You will need to setup the tools manually though, so for example to scatter something you:
- drag the asset from unreal CB in the level
- create a surface scatter tool
- set the asset as scatter object
- set the terrain as surface object
Everything will work the same, it's just a little more setup
I'm talking about material settings from dash menu...

We don't have any such conversion action no, but if it is regarding assets you have already placed/imported from Dash once in that project, you can find them in the Polygonflow folder in the UE content browser and place them that way 🙂
Not exactly what you are looking for I know, but maybe it helps until we have sorted out some further optimizations to the Dash CB that we are working on 🙂
