Installing AMD GPU Drivers

i am new to linux and what i am not getting is how to download programms and then install them. For example i downloaded the new AMD GPU drivers for Linux and now i can't figure out what to do to install them. There is a step by step guide but if i follow that, the command console just says that it does not recognize the command. Is there a tutorial guide on youtube or somewhere, where everything is explained because this is driving me nuts :bazzite:
