Installing updated AMD gpu drivers.
Hey, new user here. I went to run Dune: Awakening and they gave me a popup asking to update my drivers. I followed the given instructions on AMD's website but I keep get an error telling me my bootc is read only.

actually are you running through steam
Some games read driver version incorrectly and most of the time it's fine to ignore /dismiss
Yes, I'm running through Steam.
btw don't download the amd drivers from the internet, the drivers are already built into the linux kernel
try changing the compatibility tool used in steam
another proton version should work
I see a lot of people on protondb using proton-ge on this game, so you might want to change to that
to change to that, you will need to close steam(top left corner -> exit steam)
and open protonplus or protonup-qt, whichever is installed
from there just download something like Proton-GE 10-10 within the app, and then set the game to use that
