Any experience with Kinde and Bubble.io?

I am looking to connect Kinde as an auth provider on Bubble.io. Should I connect Kinde as SSO provider? Where can I find my SAML/OIDC metadata for my Kinde account?

Hi Tito, Thanks for reaching out.

For connecting Kinde to Bubble.io, yes, you should connect Kinde as an SSO provider. Kinde supports both SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols for enterprise authentication. Protocol Choice: - OIDC is typically easier to set up and is commonly used for modern applications - SAML is also supported if Bubble.io specifically requires it. Finding Your Kinde Metadata: For OIDC, Kinde acts as the Identity Provider (IdP) and you'll need to configure your application settings in Kinde to generate the necessary endpoints and metadata. For SAML, when you set up a SAML connection in Kinde, you'll get an ACS URL (Assertion Customer Service URL) that you'll need to provide to Bubble.io.

The setup process involves: 1. Going to Settings > Environment > Authentication 2. Adding an enterprise connection 3. Configuring the connection with an Entity ID and other required fields 4. Copying the ACS URL to use in your external service However, the provided information focuses on Kinde acting as a service provider connecting to other identity providers, rather than Kinde acting as the identity provider for external services like Bubble.io.

Here are some of our documentation in this area,

Let me know if this helps,
Thanks
