Save File/Wine Issue (Final Fantasy VII Remake)

So on FFVII Remake, I am currently using Wine-GE-Proton8-26, and I was looking to switch to a different normal GE Proton. The issue I am having is when I do this, my save disappears. It's like every version of Proton has it's own save file. When I switch back to 8-26, the save is there. But if I go to GE Proton 10-4, there is no saved progress. The video attached shows the issue. What can I do to solve this, if there is any possible way to fix it. I don't have my original save from when I played this game on Windows, and I've accepted that, but not even having the progress I've done on Linux is annoying.
Solution:
Then copy your save file across: According to PCGW, the game saves data in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\EOS\. So you'd have to copy
/home/vb3/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE_bak/drive_c/users/vb3/Documents/My Games/FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE/EOS
/home/vb3/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE_bak/drive_c/users/vb3/Documents/My Games/FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE/EOS

First of all backup your prefix files

Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton: 1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "GE-Proton" tab, and install "GE-Proton-Latest" 2. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - GE-Proton-latest" 3. Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from current-name to current-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings. Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.

Wine and Proton have slightly different paths and associated users which affects where saves are stored. make a backup of your existing folder, then delete the prefix folder, and redo the save sync folder search
