Sublevels Support

Hi, I'm curious if there is a roadmap that includes where sublevel workflow sits? I really like what Dash does, but can't really use it effectively until this exists. One potential workflow I could use is baking generated scatters/vines/etc, but from what I understand this does not generate HISMs (and so would not be efficient)?

Hey hey @Bonez πŸ™‚ We don't have a public roadmap no, but sublevel workflow is one of a few major things we want to focus on soon! Added your name to the request list, so thanks for mentioning itπŸ™Œ And yeah, you are right, the baking action turns the result into individual static actors which, in most cases, ain't efficient. But you have two other choices as well: 1. Merge - Merging the full scatter result into one static mesh 2. Convert Instances to Foliage - Converts the Dash scatter into a UE foliage paint actor, i.e. also a HISM but without the connection to Dash. (I'm pretty sure the foliage paint workflow supports sublevels) (3. The "problem" with Dash not supporting the sublevel workflow properly is basically that you can end up with scatters and other tools that you can no longer edit with Dash if you are not planning your Dash usage properly. So the results ain't going anywhere, they just remain as HISMs but without the tool connection to be editable with Dash, so as long as you are happy with the settings before, that outcome is similiar to option 1 and 2 above really πŸ™‚ ) I hope this clarifies things a bit! πŸ™‚

Ok, thanks Daniel! Will give it a spin once you're able to reset my demo period.
