Jet Lancer (GOG) does not launch
When trying to launch the game I get this error message from my Mac:
"'JET LANCER' is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
The file was downloaded on an unknown date."
I also tried installing the Windows version of the game using Wine to see if that would work. That version doesn't show an error message but it never launches despite Heroic saying that it is playing for a few moments.

Solution
can you open your terminal then type
don’t press enter,
open finder and find the game in your applications (or wherever it’s installed) folder,
and drag it into the terminal (this should copy the pathname)
now press enter, it might ask for your password, just type it in and press enter again, then try launching the game again
addendum, can you launch the game (right click it and press open in finder), go to system settings, go to privacy and security, and scroll to the bottom and see if the game is there with a little thing saying it was blocked from opening
press open anyways and the game should work
xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine don’t press enter,
open finder and find the game in your applications (or wherever it’s installed) folder,
