Cpu overheating

Program versions: minecraft 1.21.5 windows 11 newest distant horizons for fabric Pc specs (all laptop): rtx 4060 8gb (yes its enabled) Cpu: ryzen 7 7435hs 4.5ghz 16gb ram (8gb allocated) So basically im getting cpu temps of 85c (180f) and above with distant horizons installed, yes only installed, even with it disabled, but just installed on my mc world, no other mods enabled, ive tried with and without numerous performance mods but nothing will stop it from overheating my pc, even with all settings on minimum, really wanna play the mod without having these high temps and sounding like a jet with afterburners on

And yes alot of you will say i have bad cooling, i cleaned out my laptops fans and replaced the paste 2 weeks ago, my temps are fine playing any form of modded minecraft even with very fancy shaders, heck even with cyberpunk at max graphics i get better temps

Yes Set the render distance to 512 or so and then wait a few minuted for it to settle the temperatures

DH is way more heavy than CP2077 If u can use PBO on ur Ryzen try to use curve optimizer

screenshot of it being done, at 8 regular render distance and 512 distant horizons render distance

My laptop instantly goes over 90 C and the fans try to lift it over the ground. Laptops are almost always temperature limited DH side only thing you can do is decrease the CPU load and/or disable distant generation Else is under the control of the OS and BIOS, if you really want you can try changing your OS power plan or CPU wattage limit, but I agree with opinions above that even 85 C isn’t that hot
HiThere
