Gamescope not working with EAC
I'm trying to use gamescope for HDR in Elden Ring Nightreign, and it seems to be a running theme with other anti-cheats as well in the case of Helldivers 2, but launching the game using Gamescope brings up the anticheat popup, then after a few seconds, it closes, and Steam reverts to "play" from "launching." It seems like Gamescope locks onto the EAC popup and then something crashes from there, and I'm lost
Solution
So yeah it's definitely the %command% at the end of the launch settings that screws up controller input on Nightreign. The EAC anticheat thing is stupid but my workaround for it is to just click and drag on the window (the screen window, not the window border itself) for a few seconds, then let go, and then it'll launch. Sad about the controller stuff though
