im new i assume the game changed so i wanna know what to get weapon wise ect settings tips would be nice if anyone could give me some tips

idk anything about light btw
beginner heavy weapons
fireaxe for dps, swing speed and cooldown (as a heavy)
spear for reach
3 hit good-reach heavy weapons
bardiche
odachi
polehammer
general heavy weapons
glaive (2 hit force glory) for swing speed and cooldown
dragon slayer (duh)
yoru for range
colossal greatsword (like ds but force-glory needed) for cd and range
if you're just looking for something middle-ground to get back into it, fire axe is good. bardiche too but it may be a crutch (may teach you to rely on reach)
sea beast is pretty good
