Is enabling LUKS via TPM unlock on the Steam Deck discouraged?

I read up on the exploit a little bit and it seems that it allows one to leak enough information after a couple of hours to leak the encryption key for the drive.
I originally wanted to enable LUKS to have the data encrypted at rest. Just to prevent the easiest of problems: a device gets stolen and someone is mouting the drive to a computer and gets access to my Steam credentials / browser sessions.
Is enabling the feature on SD not a good idea? Are there other problems that occur if I would enable it?
