ps4 controller not registering in rocket league

Hi, fairly new to all this. I tried to play rocket league with a ps4 controller. the controls do work in the HGL menu but don't work in the actual game. Is there a setting I'm missing? the log it gave me is this https://0x0.st/8liO.log
