zero time to react. Latency issue?
I hover around 40-60ms ping and other players aswell but every couple minutes it's like my character starts hovering or spikes in positioning but the overlay stats show nothing during that.
but overall gameplay seems to be fine. No noticable delay in movement or shooting however i have literally no time to react to anything. I peek i get instantly 1tapped almost like they know EXACTLY where i am at all times. they go around a corner and not even stop and 1tap me like a rage cheater, very consistently and happens with every enemy. I watch streamers and they have a full lifetime to react 80% of the time, On my end it's different around less than 100ms at inhuman speeds while running sideways mind you. I'm dying before i even see them most of the time
could also be tied with my shots not registering probably because im already dead? it feels like the barrel is made out of floppy rubber. what can i do? It completely ruins the game as I just wanna chill and play but i can't even get a single kill in deathmatch

Glad you came to your own conclusion.
Could be a skill issue as Kenji said, could be dogshit luck and you actually run into cheaters constantly but if I had to guess it's probably just them having better crosshair placement than you or you are actually having network issues but the game can't pick up on it
I'm not actually implying they're all cheating. I'm trying to describe what I'm experiencing and I'm starting to think its a network issue
might be a wording issue, I didn't mean that you said or tried to say you're running into cheaters but it's not out of the realm of possibility though my money's on hardware or network issue
Because i can see that randomly. My character movements turn very floaty and almost like I'm chained to the ground. and then a second later I'm back to normal. I look up at the network stats and see nothing much change or turn red. Could also be a hardware problem with my pc?
I don't know what part would cause that to happen though. or to make it seem delayed but still feel responsive with inputs
I'll turn on replay mode and see if i can catch it later on today
my guess would be yeah, something might not be working right and the game just couldn't pick up on it. You could always check event viewer (if on windows) to see if anything comes up around the time you're playing the game
I would suggest firing up event viewer and having it visible while you play for a test run, if new events fire up in the middle of the game then you found your problem
you'd be wanting to look at
Windows Logs > System
information and warnings you can usually ignore
you're looking for errors and critical errors
you can also "Filter Current Log" for said errors and critical errors
this is my current log for example, the tpm errors are vanguard being fucky (unfortunately) and the windows update client errors are uhhh failed "My Phone" updates since I don't use that like ever

it just appears here?

I'm gonna play a couple deathmatches and see what pops up and capture a replay of when it does that thing
not sure if this is anything but this popped up when i just got into the game. But really nothing much appearing in event viewer. Haven't gotten that network stutter yet though
i forgot to mention i have 32gb of ddr5. 7800X3D and a 6600XT on a b650i ultra
