i get kicked every round with the error van185
forgot the command, anyway error 185 means that vanguard is being a problem, easiest solution is usually to re-install it

- Open the Task Manager > Details tab
- End the task on all VALORANT, Riot Client and VANGUARD-related apps/services
- Open the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program
- Uninstall Riot VANGUARD
- Open CMD as Admin and type these commands:
- sc delete vgc
- sc delete vgk
- Navigate to your C: Drive, then Program Files
- Find the VANGUARD folder and delete it
- Open the Riot Client and click update
- Restart your computer after the update
After you’re done with that:
- Press Windows key + R
- Type services.msc
- Look for vgc
- Right-click on vgc > Properties
- Change the startup type to automatic
- Start the services (if not started already)

i did the things i didnt found anything at the / Navigate to your C: Drive, then Program Files
Find the VANGUARD folder and delete it
Open the Riot Client and click update
Restart your computer after the update/ thing but i will test it 1 or 2 games then write again 😄
sounds like uhhh vanguard is straight up missing?
seems like this is a little outdated, look for "Riot Vanguard" folder in C:\Program Files\
its there
its still there 😦
If you delete the folder riot should re-download it hopefully without issues
Basically just follow the steps provided but for the folder go with Riot Vanguard

I also got this issue today, along with a series of other issues. Up until today always ran fine without issue.
The support just tells me to log out of any devices connected with riot . I made like 20 tickets about this problem. And all I get now is the same copy pasted message: restart the game and log out
I am going to try to follow the steps with a support ticket and also on discord and will report back any progress 🙂
