Game is crashing on boot
Hi there! I've recently installed DH, although everytime i try to launch my game i get this error message: (photo 1)
I've tried every step in the faq, although the only way i can launch minecraft is by removing DH, im launching it with sodium 0.6.13+mc1.21.1, and with the fabric loader. I have no problem launching sodium on its own, although it seems it can't when i also try and use DH.
My mods are the following: (photo 2)
And my error is the same with or without them. If somebody knows what the problem is, then please enlighten me, and maybe also fix it too if you know how to do so.
The last thing is to use a little more beginner friendly language as i have no clue if you start speaking too techy.
Kind regards!!

Sodium version is too new for Distant Horizons 2.1.2-a. Downgrade Sodium to 0.6.8 or lower.
thank you man, i will try that and update you
I've tried downgrading to sodium 0.6.7 and 0.6.3, although it seems that the same problem still occurs
.
Hmm, in that case, then only thing I can think of is that Distant Horizons 2.1.x can only pair with Sodium 0.5.x, which I don't think Sodium offers any for Minecraft 1.21.x.
so how do i fix it?
if possible
oh wait nvm
i understand it now
so i just have to downgrade my mc version
Solution
Or update Distant Horizons to 2.2.1-a if possible.
Do you have a reason for staying with 2.1.2-a?
i just downloaded the first and best version for 1.21 so no
Ah.
First and best, you say? Well 2.2.1-a has performance improvements over 2.1.x, so upgrading to it would benefit you performance wise.
well not best, i just meant the version that the most people had downloaded
another thing, i can only seem to find DH 2.2.0 for 1.21
yea nvm, there is for 1.21.1
Older versions will always have more downloads than newer versions simply because those are available for longer.
It finally works, thank you very much for your help! Is there any way to commend you or things like that
Your satisfaction is my commendation. I'm happy to help.
If that doesn't satisfy you, then marking this as the answer with @Answer Overflow will be appreciated.
