Even though I have DH turned on, fog appears in the distance.
When I use Fabric 1.20.1 and configure the MODs shown in the image, fog appears as shown in the title. Please let me know if this is a setting issue or a characteristic of the MOD that is causing the problem.

However, with the MOD configuration in the additional image, you can see the scenery that stretches into the distance as usual.

Does DH work when shaders are disables?

You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Sorry for taking so long to reply. I couldn't see far away even with the shader turned off. Please use this file. If the file I sent is wrong, please let me know.

Don't see anything interesting in the logs
Does DH work when it is the only mod?
Or with only DH + (latest) Sodium + (latest) Iris + (latest) Indium?
Or with only DH + (latest) Embeddium + Iris 1.7.5?
I tried all the suggested configurations and in all cases DH was drawn correctly and started without any problems.
For the DH + Sodium + Iris + Indium configuration, I also added the Fabric API and it started fine.
Then I guess one of the other mods you have is breaking DH
You can test them 1 by 1
Or use
!binary
Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.
To my surprise, after testing and applying all mods, Distant Horizons renders distances correctly again.
I'm not sure exactly what changed, but it might be that I changed the cache or file structure during the process.
Thanks for your help, I'll ask again if I have any problems.
