Can't make KDE autologin work

Although it is checked in the SDDM settings panel, KDE autologin does not work (I always get SDDM at boot asking for a password). I've basically tried everything, including delete all of /etc/sddm.conf, /etc/sddm.conf.d, and /etc/sddm/sddm.conf, but bazzite simply recreates /etc/sddm.conf. It creates it correctly! With all correct settings for autologin. Which then does not work.
