a way to disable DMARC

I've been routing my emails to my gmail account from cloudflare email routing service.. and added the same email to be used as alias in the gmail account, everything fine and dandy until I decided to activate DMARC and the sending service stopped... I'm getting a message when sending an email that says:
You no longer have access to me@mydomain.com. To send this email, choose a different "from" address and try again. Learn more at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370?hl=

Based on the provided documentation, I can help you with your DMARC configuration issue. It appears that the issue is related to the DMARC setup, which is causing the email sending service to stop. To resolve this, you can try the following: 1. Check your DMARC record: Ensure that your DMARC record is correctly set up and configured. You can use online tools like DMARC Record Generator | Mimecast or DMARC Record Generator - Create DMARC DNS Records - MxToolbox to generate a correct DMARC record. 2. Verify your DKIM and SPF records: Make sure that your DKIM and SPF records are correctly set up and aligned with your DMARC record. You can use tools like Mimecast DKIM Check | Mimecast and SPF Record Check | SPF Checker | Mimecast to verify your records. 3. Check your email routing setup: Ensure that your email routing setup in Cloudflare is correctly configured. You can refer to the Cloudflare documentation on email routing setup (https://developers.cloudflare.com/email-routing/setup/). If you're not sure about the necessity of DMARC, you can consider removing it altogether. However, keep in mind that DMARC helps prevent email spoofing and phishing attacks. To remove DMARC, you can delete the DMARC record from your DNS settings. You can refer to the Cloudflare documentation on managing DNS records (https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/). If you need further assistance, please provide more details about your setup, and I'll try to help you troubleshoot the issue. Based on the provided documentation, I can try to help you troubleshoot the issue. Since you have a Cloudflare domain with MX records for email routing and TXT records for DMARC and DKIM, I'd like to know the following: 1. Can you confirm that the MX records are correctly set up for Cloudflare Email Routing? You can refer to the Cloudflare documentation on email routing setup (https://developers.cloudflare.com/email-routing/setup/). 2. Are the TXT records for DMARC and DKIM correctly configured? You can check the DMARC record format and DKIM record format in the Cloudflare documentation (https://developers.cloudflare.com/dmarc-management/). 3. Have you verified the domain ownership and set up the correct DNS records for DMARC and DKIM? You can refer to the Cloudflare documentation on verifying domain ownership (https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/get-started/setup/domain/). 4. Are there any other DNS records or email services configured for your domain that might be conflicting with the DMARC setup? Additionally, you can try checking the DMARC report to see if there are any errors or issues with the DMARC configuration. You can refer to the Cloudflare documentation on DMARC reports (https://developers.cloudflare.com/dmarc-management/#dmarc-reports). If you provide more information about your setup, I can try to help you troubleshoot the issue. Based on the provided documentation, I can help you with removing the DMARC and DKIM records. To remove the DMARC and DKIM records, you can follow these steps: 1. Go to the Cloudflare DNS settings for your domain. 2. Find the TXT records related to DMARC and DKIM. 3. Delete the DMARC record (usually starts with "_dmarc") and the DKIM records (usually starts with "default._domainkey" and "selector1._domainkey"). After deleting the records, your domain will no longer have DMARC and DKIM configured. Please note that removing DMARC and DKIM may make your domain more vulnerable to email spoofing and phishing attacks. If you're sure you want to remove them, you can proceed with deleting the records. References: * https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/manage-dns-records/how-to/delete-dns-records/ * https://developers.cloudflare.com/dmarc-management/ Also, keep in mind that you might need to update your Gmail settings to remove the alias or the "Send mail as" configuration that's causing the error message you mentioned earlier. You can refer to the Gmail documentation on removing aliases or "Send mail as" configurations.
