I think it crashes every time the update checker finds a new update
because it's the update prompt screen that causes the crash
thus if you have a build from GitLab (nightly) it'll crash when a new commit is pushed
a workaround is to disable the update checker

Fixed, new build should be available in about 30 minutes or so
