This is probably just me not accounting for multiplayer properly. I'm traveling for a few weeks but I will look at it when I'm back around July 15
I believe @I'm just Ken reported a similar crash a few weeks back but we didn't pursue it at the time because we were focusing on issues in Modular Stations
Correct, reported when we were troubleshooting the gantry crashes
Gonna hijack this thread a bit to request that it also apply to vehicles (as in both trains and vehicles should respond to honks by trains and vehicles)

I'm sure this can be done but I don't have any plans to do it soon.
Yup, HonkBack crashes clients in multiplayer. For the host it works as intended, but clients can't hear train's honks in response to the host. However when a client uses a wave gesture, it crashes the game for the client (host is okay). I didn't even wave in the direction of a train (although trains were within 500m around me) and it still crashed.
