Uniqlo fit check
Real quick just want some feedback on fit. Assuming the xl will mostly shrink a tiny bit. I think I just need to accept I'm xl in shirts but let me know what y'all think. Will put large in this post and xl fits in next comment

Xl fits

yeah imo the xl is better, they look good and will shrink a little bit.
seconding XL especially when factoring in shrinkage
Shrinkage and I think after a wash or 2 I can always get them adjusted slightly at a tailor. Uniqlo is cheap enough and honestly I'm surprised how good it all feels
i would stress that you're an XL in these specific shirts. if you measure the dimensions of the shirt (shoulder, pit to pit, sleeve length and width, length) you may find they correspond to another brand's large or 2xl - not an indictment against you as a person just how different brands define their sizing
third opinion just to echo others that I think the XLs fit you much much better in the shoulders/chest
Actually even in the uniqlo the broadcloth Button down shirt fits a lot looser than the standard oxford so even that is different.
Going to go with a polo, oxford and linen today and go from there
You guys rock
And for even more silly arbitrariness I have trousers where the sewn in size label reads
Japan S / EU north America XS
Would y'all keep a slimmer for in the airism undershirt? The large feels ok and it's obviously not for show
looks good! just fyi- im between a small and a 2xl depending on the brand, dont overthink it
personal preference; my general stance is undershirt if my nips risk poking through
What in the actual fk
Ya I'd probably only grab one or two for the lighter materials
oh yeah, not even exaggerating
i'm small to large depending on brand even when ignoring intentionally oversized things; main thing is finding what fits in the way i want
a combo of brands being wildly different and my tastes changing
Ya I think I'm in a changing-tastes moment
It's very weird
